Fighting games are all about having unique characters to play with. The more characters there are in the game, the better the gameplay becomes. It is because the play styles and the personality of the characters are different.
Injustice games do this perfectly. Since they have a whole universe of characters from the DC comics to refer to, they can go crazy with a lot of characters, and the DLCs in Injustice 2 have done it yet again.
The game studio behind this game is Netherrealms and they have done a great job by giving us all these new characters to play as in Injustice 2. Each DLC character is different and there are a lot of new moves to learn and new mechanics to understand as well.
Injustice 2 DLC characters
So, let us get started and see all the characters in the DLC of Injustice 2.
Fighter Pack 1
The first DLC came in the form of fighter pack 1. This pack cost only twenty dollars and it included three brand new characters in addition to a premier skin as well as a shader pack that was incredible. The characters are:
If you have played Batman: Arkham Knight, you know Redhood. His real name is Jason Todd and he is the former partner (Robin) of batman. Redhood is an anti-hero and is playable in Injustice 2. He is classified as a Gadget user and he can be controlled by people who like to hit from a distance.
Starfire is our fav girl from Teen Titans. She is incredibly fun and popular. In addition, her move set is quite epic too. A really great character overall.
Sub-Zero is one of the most popular characters from the Mortal Kombat games. This character is there in the game because both Injustice 2 and Mortal Kombat have the same parent game publisher that is the WB Games. It is a cool collaboration and Sub-Zero is really fun to play as in the game. You can have matches such as Batman Vs Sub-Zero or pit him against Superman, Green Lantern, and even Deathstroke. Cool.
Fighter Pack 2
The second fighter pack is even more awesome. It has the same price as the first one and just like the first one, it also has three new characters and one new skin. They have given the Reverse-Flash skin with the DLC. The new characters in this pack are:
Black Manta is a really awesome character. He has a black bodysuit with a large silver helmet. He is a human dressed as an alien and uses different gadgets. So, long-range attacks would be the best way to play like him.
Beast Boy is one of the coolest characters in DC comics. He is funny, he is awesome and he can change into any animal in the world. This makes his gameplay different.
You might be surprised to find out that Hellboy is actually a DC character. This character is incredible to play as and he is easy to control as well. It feels great to finally be able to play as Hellboy.
Fighter Pack 3
The third fighter pack did something awesome. Not only did they have the Demons shader pack and John Steward Premiere Skin, but they also got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the game. SO COOL, right? Anyway, these are the characters in the DLC:
Atom has a lot of gadgets in his arsenal. He can also shrink. He can freeze the opponent with a freeze gun, drop firebombs and just kick and punch like crazy. He is a really great character in the game.
Enchantress is a demonic sorceress in the DC universe. She is a really badass character with magical abilities. She is fun to play as and as an incredibly vast move set as well.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The biggest DLC to ever come to Injustice is the TMNT. You get all four Turtles in the game: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo. All of the turtles are kind of the same but different too. They have their own move sets and their own power-ups. Anyway, the turtles are very fun to play as.
So, here are the DLC characters that you get with Injustice 2. As you might have noticed, the characters are very different from each other and that is a good thing. The more variety there is, the better the gaming experience will be.
